The Gathering has been successfully concluded.

A Declaration from HIV+ People of the Pacifc was presented to Hon. Chris Carter, NZ Minister of Ethnic Affairs and Education and to Hon. Dame Carol Kidu, PNG Minister of Development.

The Declaration is available on the website.

The Conference Declaration is currently being prepared and sent to every Country in the Pacific, with a strong recommendation to Governments to implement the required changes, if each country is to seriously counter the impact of HIV/AIDS.

HIV/AIDS will cause devastation to economies, infrastructure, and communities, if legislative and social change do not work hand in hand to counter this 21^st Century pandemic.

We all look forward to the convening of the next Pan Pacific Gathering for HIV+ People.
